Geoff Walters was born in 1952 in Newport and brought up in Crosskeys. He was educated at Newbridge Grammar School before moving to the Midlands to gain a business degree, following which he pursued his studies in London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He left the profession on qualification and has spent most of his career as Finance Director of public and private companies in the property and construction sector.
Geoff joined the Committee in 2007, initially taking on the position of Auditor and one year later, Treasurer. He is also Treasurer of The Glamorgan Society and a Director of the Welsh School in London.
His interests include rugby, cricket, horse riding and horse racing.
